Alice had been driving for what seemed like forever.She had been running errands all day and it was almost getting dark.Alice sighed as she drove into Port Angeles.Living with Charlie was easy, but it had it's days where she just wanted to be on her own. The poor guy couldn't cook and he basically was depending on her now, sometimes it bothered Alice, but she wasn't going to say anything to him.She was too afraid that he would take it the wrong way and be hurt.
Alice found an almost empty parking lot and she pulled into it and then into a parking space.She shut the truck off and sat there for a few moments.She didn't really know why she had come to Port Angeles, but she got out of the truck and started walking down the street anyways.Alice looked into the little shop windows and sighed, today seemed to be going by so slow and she just wanted to go home so she could sleep.She hadn't really been getting any sleep lately, all these dreams of Jasper were waking her up. She felt like someone was in her room while she was sleeping.
The sky got darker and there was very little sunlight left.Alice quickened her pace as she walked past an alley full of what seemed to be drunken males. They had said some things to her, but she ignored them and kept walking. She heard someone walking behind her and she quickened the pace again. There was no where to go, except down a dark and seemingly empty alley way to get to the other road. Alice sighed and walked down the alley, she thought the person stopped following her because she hadn't heard anything, except the sound of her flats hitting the ground.
Just then two guys entered the alley from the direction she was headed. Alice quickly turned around and headed the other way again, but two more entered the way. She stopped in her tracks and backed towards the wall and stood in the shadows.The four guys were closing fast and she closed her eyes and waited for the worst.
